Van Robert

Van Robert is a genius of his time. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he is a master of color who has become one of the leading revelations of Dominican art. Internationally known for the hidden context in his works, Van Robert is a current member of the Dominican College of Visual Artists (CODAP), the International Association of Art, and UNESCO. Having had the pleasure of knowing and working closely with the master Félix Disla (founder of the Hispanic American Painters and Sculptors of New York), this artist has skillfully mastered the art of pure color and the art of combining and mixing pigments on canvas. His work has been collected across 15 countries including the United States, France, Germany, England, Peru, Chile, Venezuela, Haiti, Cuba, Colombia, Aruba, Holland, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. One of his paintings was donated to UNESCO Director General Mr. Matsuura during his visit to Santo Domingo in 2006, and his art was selected to be displayed in the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Germany.
